  • Do you offer training?
I am happy to follow any specific routines or training plans you have for your pets. Also, basic training commands are in place throughout my stay.
  • How do you deal with sassy dogs?
There is 7 common commands I use daily & most often with puppies. Its been a great success for me so far (senior dogs a whole other conversation haha). There is not much to it, just keeping up with it as the Alpha of the pack. Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Off, & their name.
  • What happens if my dog acts different during your stay?
When it comes to boarding vs house sitting, I prefer to house sit because it’ new; territory, smells or favorite spot in the yard. With my experience, some cases the dogs won’t eat for a day or two & that’s normal being out of their routine. It’s easier to add someone new in their routine than take them out of what’s normal to the fur-babies, while away
  • Do you work a day job?
No. I do have other businesses I conduct. I’m a freelancer, entrepreneur & Artist.
  • How much do you charge for a walk?
$75 I do 1 hour dog walks, not 30 minutes. This is not for small dogs with Respiratory issues or seniors.
  • How often can you do Drop-ins?
I like to be within 4 hours away, max. 0-2 hours or 2-4 hours away at a time. If I can control it.
  • How long do you stay with my pet?
Your fur-babies are with me 95% of the time.
  • Will you take them off-leash?
When taking dogs for a walk, they are not off leash because I am new knowing them & their behavior. Even being a friendly dog, I will walk across the street out of respect for the other dog(s) & owner as well as your dog & I. I will not let them off leash unless I know that they have a great recall with me.
  • Do you go back to your home?
I have a fully fenced large backyard that, if I need to go home to collect some things during your stay, the dogs have a place to relieve themselves safely & we play in the backyard for a while.
  • How do you prepare for a pet sitting away?
I’ve learnt from my first couple house sitting clients, I should bring my own gear. I have a couple of steamer trunks I bring. Loaded with kitchen items such as; pans & dishes, own bedding & bathroom supplies. It’s like I move in on a mini vacation with your fur-babies & clean up & pack it out. Make it seem like I was never there. One Client made a complaint about the house looking like no one was there the whole time. It is not my home. So, out of respect & how I have such a large returning Clientele, your home will be left the same or better if I can keep it that way.
  • What do you do while you’re at our home?
I stay busy with other projects I bring along. Love to read books & play with the fur-babies. I have been hesitant to share this, I like to keep it as a surprise. However, while you are away on vacation or what it may be. You may have a closet that can be organized or a kitchen that can be cleaned & organized. I’ll go ahead & do that at no charge because I love my clients & I want them to feel good.
  • Do you take on other house sittings gigs while staying with my house?
No. It’s not fair to my time nor my commitment to your household. If I have a House Sitting & another client needs a walk in the neighborhood, yes, I’ll do a walk while I have a house sitting gig. Camano Island has 14 clients very nearby one another. I can do that. Rare that it happens but I will not take 2 house sittings together.
  • How did you get into Pet sitting?
2017, my roommate suggested with our extra time & space, let’s join Rover. 2021, Coming back home from CA to WA, pet sitting was just a side gig while I assisted ill family members. It quickly took off & become my full time business.
  • Have you always wanted to be a Pet Sitter?
No, not a pet sitter. My childhood dream was to be a Veterinarian. While in High School, I also attended Vet Tech School for College credits. When my Mother got ill, I chose to find a local School & started my path towards being a Chef (16 years).
